I had a client with a dmaged object QGPL/QC2NPOSX Without this object, TCP/IP would not start The trick was to copy this object from another iSeries on the same version load it to the broken iSeries. I copied the object to a save file named XXX and used FTP to get it on my PC as XXX.SAV I emailed the file to my client who burned it to a CD Using DSPOPT, I was able to get the volume name of the CD which was 120401_1152. I created a save file on the broken iSeries: CRTSAVF QGPL/XXX and used this command to copy the XXX.SAV from the CD to the save file QGPL/XXX: CPYFRMSTMF FROMSTMF('/QOPT/120401_1152/XXX.SAV') TOMBR('/QSYS.LIB/QGPL.LIB/XXX.FILE') MBROPT(*REPLACE) Then I restored the object form the save file QGPL/XXX
